Ceramics/Pottery For All (Evening)

This evening course is suitable for those with or without previous experience. This course offers the opportunities to learn, explore or further develop a variety of taught practices including hand building and throwing techniques. The use of surface patterns, decoration techniques, and a variety of glaze applications will also be taught throughout the course. The emphasis is on you as individual supported and encouraged to realise your own creative intention in a relaxed atmosphere. Materials are provided but please bring an apron or old shirt to protect your clothes and your footwear should not be open toed. These courses are now full. Silver Jewellery - Beginners (Evening)

This course is designed for the beginner or those with very little experience. It will cover a variety of techniques to produce beautiful, individual jewellery with the aim to wear it once complete. The techniques taught will include an introduction to piercing, ring sizing, filing, texturing and finishing. Materials are provided for the first project and your tutor will advise you of where you can buy any further materials you need. You will work on projects that are written to allow you to develop skills in both digital and analogue processes across a range of photographic applications. At the end of each year of study you will be given the chance to choose your own specialism and create a completely individual product based on the strengths and skills you have developed.
