Learn to use your sewing machine - bring along any make or model of sewing machine in good working order and your manual.
By the end of the workshop you should feel confident setting up and using your machine. As well as threading, you will learn how to sew seams, neaten edges and sew hems.
You will make and complete at least one simple product during the day.
For this workshop, as well your own sewing machine (in good working order) and manual, you will need your own sewing kit including scissors, pins, needles, tape measure, tailors chalk or other fabric marker.
You will also need to bring your own fabric, thread etc and you will be informed of the amounts nearer the start date.

This workshop runs on a Saturday from 9.30am to 4.00pm for 1 day.
