This program will give you the training required to complete the exams and practical assessments needed to gain the qualification. You will undertake training and assessment in both theory and practical sessions covering safety, plumbing science, hot & cold water systems, central heating and drainage systems. The qualification also includes a basic awareness of working with electrical controls safely.
If you have previously completed the 6129 technical certificate and are now working in the industry, you will be assessed only in the workplace and will not need to attend college for the training element of this qualification.
This qualification is also available as part of an apprenticeship. Please talk to our apprenticeship recruitment team to discuss which route is best suited to your needs.
