On this course your creative skills will be developed focusing on core disciplines of creative practice and five specialist career pathways. Over the next two years you will take part in lots of exciting assignments, visit local workshops, benefit from guest lectures and have your own dedicated studio space.

About the rich and diverse nature of the creative industry and you will be able to use art and design to develop your ideas, realising your potential within this exciting industry. The course will focus on core disciplines of creative practice, such as visual recording and contextual studies, as well as experimentation and development of five specialist career pathways in: Fine Art & Illustration, Graphic Design, Photography, Fashion & Textiles or 3D Design & Craft. Each pathway will teach you to explore ideas through the use of materials, techniques and processes.
Lots of variety, guest lectures and subject specialist teaching with access to specialist workshops, educational trips, live projects and presentation.
To have your own dedicated and purpose built studio space with access to excellent workshops in 3D, ceramics, printmaking, fashion, textiles, animation and film.

Rachael Reeve-Edwards Team Lead - Visual Arts
Rachael has been teaching for over 20 years, her experience ranges across a number of art and design programmes and disciplines. She took her MA at Chelsea College of Art & Design, now part of the London Institute, and entered employment as an art technician at the Imperial War Museum in London. This led to her becoming an apprentice glider and interior specialist decorator and colour consultant. Since moving to Cornwall in 1999, Rachael has been represented by commercial galleries and taken part in many exhibitions.
