Online Learning for Adults: Funded Courses and AAT Pathways

The purpose of the qualification is to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding needed to enable them to plan and evaluate events.
The objective of the qualification is to introduce learners to the skills required to plan, organise, and evaluate events by developing their knowledge and understanding. Areas covered include marketing methods and resources, market research, human resources, communication and customer service relevant to events.
The qualification is suitable for a wide range of learners who wish to develop knowledge and understanding of planning and running an event. It may be used as an introduction for those who wish to pursue a career as an event planner but also for learners in or preparing for a wide range of job roles in diverse sectors, which require them to plan and organise events as part of their responsibilities.
The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) is committed to helping as many adults as possible to access our courses and we may be able to offer support with essential equipment such as a laptop to complete your online course. Students would need to meet the criteria for ASF funding and for bursary to be eligible for a laptop. The laptop would only be loaned for the duration of your studies, so you would not be allowed to keep it afterwards.
