FAQs
The new campus is being built on the site of our existing campus. We will be replacing John Keay House, with two new carbon neutral buildings, while retaining our amazing Keay Theatre and our state-of-the art Skills Centre and Green Construction Skills Academies.
The building works are taking place in stages, ensuring the minimum amount of disruption for our current students.
While individual buildings will be ready beforehand, the entire new campus will be completed in time for the academic year beginning September 2027.
We’ve been working in consultation with the local community to ensure that we have a learning environment that provides a wide range of opportunities to the local community. Therefore, we’ve decided to reintroduce A-Levels at St Austell with a new sixth-form centre, which will be open to students from September 2027.
Yes, we will still offer a wide range of vocational courses, ranging from construction and carpentry to health and social care, catering and hairdressing.
