Apprenticeship Games

The Cornwall College Group’s annual Games are being held at Cornwall College Camborne on Wednesday 11th of February 2026 from 8.30 am to 5pm. Teams from the South West’s leading apprenticeship employers compete against each other in a series of exciting & interactive challenges, with the winner being crowned Apprenticeship Team of the Year.

Think your apprentices have got what it takes to take the title from last year’s winners, A&P? Bookings open on Monday the 10th of November but you can reach out to your Apprenticeship Advisor or the event team at events@cornwall.ac.uk, if you have any questions.

FAQS

Teams must be made up of four existing apprenticeships or a mix of existing and previous apprentices, this can also include their line manager.

We like to keep the challenges a surprise! This is the best way to keep things fair and ensure nobody can prepare before the day. Please note, challenges can include physical elements.

Each year we encourage teams to bring their own mascot, the more home-made the better! During the awards ceremony, our favourite mascot will win Mascot of the Year.

Please ensure your teams bring appropriate clothing and footwear, keeping in mind some activities can be active. We always recommend bringing a change of clothes, just in case.

Food and drink are provided upon arrival and during lunch time but please advise teams to bring their own drinks bottles to take with them to the challenges. We are happy to cater to any dietary requirements and will contact teams to gather this information
