
This is your school’s chance to lead the way in creating a greener future for Cornwall.
The Green Futures Challenge is an exciting sustainability competition for students in Years 9, 10 and 11. Running from September 2025 to March 2026, teams of up to 10 students will work together to design and prototype a sustainable building or community hub that could benefit their local area.
Think: eco-schools, solar-powered hospitals, or net-zero community centres – designed in Minecraft, Roblox, 3D printing or handmade models!
What’s involved?
- Monthly in-school workshops with a sustainability specialist
- Exclusive mentoring from local industry professionals
- Real-world insight into green careers and renewable tech
- Awards for creativity, viability, teamwork, innovation & more
- End-of-year awards ceremony and prizes!
All participants receive a certificate and get to present their work at a celebration event in March 2026.
