PGCE & Cert Ed Information Session – Train to Teach in Further Education

ABOUT THE COURSE
Ready to inspire and make a difference?

Our one-year (September – May) PGCE and Cert Ed programme fully qualifies you to teach in the Further Education and Skills sector. Open to candidates from all subject areas, the course combines expert training with real classroom practice, giving you the skills, confidence and recognition to succeed as an FE teacher.

• Funded through the Student Loans Company (for all subjects)
• Additional bursaries available in priority areas: Maths, English, Engineering, Computing, Science and SEND
• Routes available for graduates (PGCE) and for those with Level 3-5 qualifications (Cert Ed)
• You’ll need GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths

WHY ATTEND THIS SESSION?
Come and meet the team, ask questions and learn more about how you can train to teach in Further Education. During the afternoon you can:

• Drop in anytime between 1pm and 4pm
• Attend a short talk at 1:30pm or 3:00pm (please select the session when booking your ticket)
• Speak directly with staff about entry requirements, funding and career opportunities
