Course information

This course is for managers and supervisors/team leaders in any sector. It is designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

What will I do on the course?

Tutor lead modules involving interactive presentations games and exercises covering the following topics:

Introducing managing safely
Assessing the risks
Controlling the risks
Understanding your responsibilities
Identifying hazards
Investigating accidents and incidents
Measuring performance
Protecting our environment

This course concludes with a final assessment on the last day, including a multi-format question paper and a work-based risk assessment.
