Level 2 Common Health Conditions – Level 2 (Online)
Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s disease, there are approximately 152,000 strokes in the UK every year (more than one every five minutes), and one in six of the UK population have some form of hearing loss. These health conditions, along with others such as arthritis and dementia, affect a substantial proportion of the population. A good understanding of common health conditions is essential in any care environment.
If you work in health and social care, it’s essential that you know about some of the most common health conditions that people face. This level 2 course in Common Health Conditions covers a variety of health conditions including dementia, stroke, sensory loss, arthritis, and Parkinson’s disease. It’s a great way to increase your understanding of these conditions and help you to monitor the health of people affected by them.
Learners may be eligible for funding which means the course won’t cost a thing to complete (subject to eligibility). There is a £125 cancellation fee if a learner enrols and fails to complete or withdraws early from the course. This fee is to cover administration costs.
