Introduction to Weightlifting, you will learn:

1 Weightlifting Basics
Understanding the types of weightlifting (e.g., resistance training, general strength training).
Overview of key equipment, including barbells, dumbbells, and plates.

2 Proper Lifting Techniques
How to perform fundamental lifts like the squat, deadlift, and bench press safely and effectively.
Introduction to accessory movements to complement main lifts.

3 Form and Posture
Importance of proper alignment and posture to maximize performance and prevent injury.
Tips for identifying and correcting common form errors.

4 Safety and Injury Prevention
Warm-up and cooldown strategies.
Using appropriate weights and progressing gradually.

5 Weightlifting Principles
Basics of sets, reps, and rest intervals.
Understanding progressive overload and its role in building strength.

6 Goal Setting in Weightlifting
Setting realistic strength and fitness goals.
How to track progress effectively.

This session will leave you with a foundation in weightlifting, helping you gain confidence in the gym and start building strength safely and effectively.
