This is a one-year intensive course leading to a Functional Skills English qualification.
It is designed to improve your English skills to solve a number of problems in life and work.
This course is free of charge if you have not previously achieved a grade 4 - 9 (or A* to C) in English.
You will need to be willing to work independently in addition to attending all the timetabled lessons.
Functional Skills English qualifications ensure that learners can speak, listen, communicate, read, and write with increasing clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness so that they can prepare for employment. It is also relevant for people in a current role looking to develop their skills resulting in the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification.
