Introduction to Metal Clay Jewellery Design

Metal Jewellery Courses Learn the magic that is Silver Clay and capture the nature around us. This evening class will be packed with lots of hints and tips designed for you to start your journey using this wonderful product.

Metal clay is 100% eco-friendly recycled silver, a by product of the photography and x-ray sector a organic binder and water are added. It can be moulded and shaped like clay then fired with a torch or kiln. The binder then burns away and you are left with a 99.9 fine silver piece of jewellery.

One of the big advantages of working with metal clay is that it is easy to carry on working at home after the class, as you don’t need very many tools or equipment as you do with traditional silversmithing.
