Basic Signing Taster Class

This is a free Basic Signing taster. If you would like to learn some beginner's signing this is perfect for you. You may want to go on to do the British Sign Language Level 1 or to do a Makaton course afterwards. Alternatively, it could be enough for you to just know some basic signs.

It is a fun evening course and will involve you having lots of conversations in sign language

I am fully qualified at British Sign Language Level 2 and have also passed the Communication/Presentation and Linguistic units of Level 3 British Sign Language.

Topics covered include: greetings, the alphabet, family, numbers, food and drink, animals, transport etc.
