Practical skills are developed on hand trainers - once a level of competence is reached clients are to be used for assessment. Theory is delivered alongside each unit and in house exams are set, however emphasis is placed on practical learning.
Students will be expected to wear uniform and present themselves in a professional manner as practical work will be assessed in the commercial salon.

Work experience
You are expected to find an external work placement while on the course. This will help you gain valuable work experience to help you develop a career in this exciting industry. However, we have work place coordinators that can help you or you may be able to gain work experience in our own commercial Salons open to the public.
Assessment
You will be assessed through either written assignments or online multiple choice questions, as well as practical assessment on customers in our commercial salons that are open to the public.
Progression
Once you have completed the Nail Services Level 2 course, you will have a basic understanding of the nail industry and be ready to move on to the more advanced Level 3 courses.
You could use your newly gained qualification to seek employment in industry.
