Information, Advice or Guidance Certificate Level 2 (Learning Curve Platform) – Online

This qualification aims to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of the key principles of information, advice or guidance and applying these within their own context. The objectives of this qualification are to prepare learners for further training and to support a role where learners may give initial information, advice or guidance to others.

For many businesses, being able to offer clear and accurate information, advice or guidance (IAG) - and knowing what can be shared legally and professionally - is really important. This course covers communication techniques, interpersonal skills and group interactions, as well as how to store and retrieve information in a way that complies with the law

Entry requirements

Aged 19+ at the beginning of the academic year and will need to have the right to study in the UK and been a resident for a minimum of 3 years.

Assessment

The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance. Where indicated in the unit specifications, assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles. Materials for internal assessment must be submitted to The Learning Curve for approval prior to use and must be mapped to the relevant unit, learning outcome and assessment criteria. All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a Pass – there is no grading.
