We are looking for landlords for our Higher Education students studying at Eden Project Learning from September 2022.  If you have a house/flat/annex to let or a room in your home please come along and have a chat with our Offsite Student Accommodation Officer to discuss opportunities.  Our amazing students are here to study Garden Landscape Design, Plant Science, Land and Ecological Restoration and much more.

Please access via the North Entrance (from Trethurgy) and park in Pineapple car park and walk down to the Foundation Building ( Click here for map ).

Cornwall College Newquay

in the Durrell Building 

We are looking for landlords for our Higher Education students studying at Cornwall College Newquay from September 2022.  If you have a house/flat/annex to let or a room in your home please come along and have a chat with our Offsite Student Accommodation Officer to discuss opportunities.  Our amazing students are here to study Marine Biology with Conservation, Marine Biology with Oceanography, Environmental Resource Management and much more.

We are looking for accommodation in Camborne, Falmouth, Newquay and St Austell areas for Higher Education (18+) and Further Education students (16-18) studying with the Cornwall College Group.  Do you have a spare room to rent out, a flat or house to rent or do you know anyone in this area who could provide accommodation for our students?

Students study for 1, 2 and 3 years and courses run from September to June.  Secure payments, deposits and references can be obtained. All contracts are between students and landlords.

DBS checks

If you are renting to our 16-18 year olds, you will need to have a Cornwall College enhanced DBS check for every member of your house over 18. Please contact us for more information and help obtaining this.

A standard DBS check will cost £34.60, one DBS check will be paid for by the college, each one after that you will have to fund.  If you have a portable DBS you will just need to provide this information for our HR Department.

Government’s ‘Rent a Room Scheme’

The Government’s Rent a Room Scheme lets you earn up to a threshold of £7,500 per year tax-free from letting out furnished accommodation in your home. Read more here https://www.gov.uk/rent-room-in-your-home/the-rent-a-room-scheme
