College shines as finalist in national apprenticeship competition
The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) has been selected as a national finalist in the prestigious FE Week & AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards 2024.
The Group has been recognised for its commitment and dedication to excellence in apprenticeship delivery and is in this year’s “Agriculture, Environmental and Animal Care Apprenticeship Provider of the Year” category.
The nomination reflects the hard work of TCCG’s staff, students and employers, who have consistently demonstrated exceptional performance in the field.
Expressing his excitement, John Evans, principal and CE of TCCG, said: “Being recognised nationally in such a prestigious awards ceremony is truly an honour. It reflects the dedication of our team and the outstanding performance of our students. We look forward to celebrating this achievement and contributing to the continued success of our apprenticeship delivery programmes.”
As a national finalist, TCCG has been invited to attend a celebratory reception at the Houses of Parliament in February 2024, hosted by the Rt Hon. Robert Halfon MP, to formally recognise national finalists and highlight outstanding apprenticeship delivery across the sector.
The official awards ceremony, the AAC Apprenticeship Awards Gala Dinner, set to take place on 27th of February 2024 in Birmingham, will be a unique networking opportunity for colleges across the nation to share best practices in apprenticeship delivery and celebrate achievement.
The FE Week & AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards celebrate outstanding contributions to apprenticeship delivery in the UK, providing a platform to acknowledge the efforts of both employers and providers.
