This is an adult only Level 3 academic course that will give students an underpinning knowledge in academic subject areas relevant to radiography. Successful completion of the course will enable progression onto a degree in Diagnostic Radiography. Unlike A levels it is a predominantly coursework-based qualification run over three short days a week.
You are over the age of 19, have an interest in science and would like to gain an appropriate Level 3 qualification to progress to university.
This course will also be suitable if you have been out of education for some time and would like to improve your academic skills to prepare for university study.
This diploma is ideal for those interested in pursuing a career in the police, fire or ambulance services as well as a wider career in the emergency sector or criminal justice sector. The delivery will include case studies, primary research, problem solving, academic content legislature and judiciary and elements of forensic study.
You are aged 18 or over and wish to progress on to occupations in the 'Blue Light' services e.g. Police, Fire and Rescue, Ambulance etc.
