Higher Education 2019/20

The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) is delighted to offer the following scholarships and bursaries for 2019/20 to help support your university studies.

Applications will be open from 1st October 2019 – 31st October 2019.

The scholarship scheme is open to all internally progressing Cornwall College students who meet the eligibility criteria.  Bursaries are available to all first year students applying for university programmes with Cornwall College, Duchy College, Bicton College and Falmouth Marine School, who meet the following eligibility criteria:

Mature student bursary – £500

  • For full-time students over 25 years of age
  • Income below £25,000
  • Paid in two instalments in December and April, dependent 85% course attendance

Full-time student bursary – £500

  • For full-time students under 25 years of age
  • Income below £25,000
  • Paid in two instalments in December and April, dependent 85% course attendance

Part-time student bursary – £400

  • For any part-time students
  • Paid in two instalments in December and April, dependent 85% course attendance
  • Income below £25,000

Internal progression scholarship – £500

  • For students who have completed an FE course with the Cornwall College Group between 2013-18
  • 1st year full-time students
  • Income below £25,000

The above bursaries and scholarships are limited in number and subject to eligibility and application. Therefore allocation will be on a first come first served basis.  Full details can be downloaded. Please read carefully for eligibility criteria.

Please note that funding must be in place and recorded by Student Finance.  A copy of the award letter must accompany the application.
