Inside Cornwall College Camborne’s multimillion-pound redevelopment

The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) is excited to announce a multimillion-pound redevelopment of Cornwall College Camborne, thanks to funding secured from the Department for Education’s (DfE) FE Capital Transformation Fund.

Work that is already taking place is set to revitalise the campus that has been serving the local community and beyond for close to a century.

Upgrading classrooms, laboratories and workshops, improving technology, infrastructure, and enhancing accessibility and safety, will all positively impact learner experience, according to principal and CE John Evans.

Our primary value is ‘Learner First’, so we’re thrilled to be embarking on this exciting project to revamp Cornwall College Camborne,” he continued.

This major development will enable us to continue to provide our students with the highest quality of education and training in cutting-edge facilities, which is why we are known as the career college.

We’re committed to delivering the best possible learning experience for our students and to helping our local community thrive,” John added.

Head of Cornwall College Camborne, Luke Bazeley, said the development is an important step as part of TCCG’s commitment to deliver high-quality education and training to the people of Cornwall and Devon.

We’re excited to see the project come to fruition and to provide our students with the best possible learning environment,” he explained.

The fly-through video shared by Poynton Bradbury Wynter Cole Architects looks fantastic and I look forward to seeing the plans come to life.”

With work continuing over the next few years, TCCG is ensuring the college remains at the forefront of education and training in Cornwall.
