Future careers take centre stage at virtual college open day
Published: 30th April 2021
People of all ages are being invited to experience everything a leading south west college group has to offer at a virtual event next month.
The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) is showcasing the huge range of courses, state-of-the-art facilities and award-winning team at its Camborne, St Austell and Newquay campuses.
Potential students and their families can learn more about the wide range of full and part-time courses on offer at the local college for 16-18 year olds as well as adults.
There will be a welcome from the head of campus, and tutors will be sharing information about the courses available and the excellent support potential students can expect to receive.
Visitors to the online event will have the opportunity to watch curriculum presentations and to ask questions through a live chat.
Rory Mason, head of campus at Cornwall College Camborne, said he is “delighted” to be able to offer another virtual open event to prospective students.
“Please join us to find out about all the exciting opportunities we have here at Camborne as well as in St Austell and how you can get the qualifications, industry experience and personal skills you need to build the career you want.
“In addition, industry-standard facilities including hair and beauty salons, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a construction skills training centre provide the local community with all the experiences and skills necessary for excelling in their careers.”
