Fully-funded online training to develop leaders

Existing and future leaders are being given a helping hand to develop the skills needed to lead their business through uncertain times due to the immense impact of Covid-19.

Funding is available to provide leadership training for small to medium size businesses and public sectors across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

This new fully-funded leadership training delivered online is part of the Developing Leaders projects, which is set to help, according to Pilar Torres-Subire, Project Lead and Training Consultant at CCB Training, who added it was an “opportunity not to be missed”.

“We’ve developed a suite of online programmes in response to Covid-19, to ensure our delegates feel safe and relaxed when learning.”

The suite of leadership programmes are accredited from Level 2 to Level 5 by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). All courses are fully-funded subject to criteria.

“These exciting programmes will not only develop skills for those taking their first steps onto the leadership ladder, but also provide opportunities for those operating at a strategic level to work together with other senior leaders across the region,” she continued.

“Our Leading your team, Level 2 programme will develop your skills to lead people to enhance the effectiveness of both your team and you as a leader.

This programmes starts on the 13th October.

“Our Level 3 Leadership Essentials programme will support you in further developing your leadership abilities by helping you to gain an increased awareness of your own skills, talents and areas for development, starting on the 08 October 2020,” Pilar explained.

“And finally, our Level 5 Enhancing your leadership skills programme is ideal for those who are looking to take stock, develop and enhance their own leadership skills, to improve the performance of themselves, their staff and their business, starting on 21st October.”

Developing Leaders is a three year project ending in May 2021 and Pilar urged companies and individuals to get in contact with CCB to take up this opportunity while the funding is available. Developing Leaders Project is funded from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
