Lovers of the creative arts are being invited to attend a showcase of the very best of the next generation of Cornish creative talent.
The annual end of year show for Art, Design and Media at Cornwall College St Austell will be held at White River Place and will include a variety of student’s final creative pieces.
The exhibit will be open to the public from Monday 19th June to Thursday 22nd June, from 10am-4pm in the Cornwall College Art & Design space next to the Halifax Bank.
The range of pieces and installations have all been produced by students studying A-level, vocational and part-time courses in a wide range of disciplines, including fine art, graphic design, media, film, photography and textiles.
Examples of the impressive artwork on display will include video sculptures, a photography gallery, textiles, commercial design, fine art, stained glass work and animation.
Curriculum Lead for Visual Arts across The Cornwall College Group, Lisa Mortensen, said the summer show “is a fantastic showcase for the talents of our students”.
“It’s a celebration of all they have accomplished throughout their time at the College and this year will be better than ever. Please feel free to come along and see the impressive standard of work for yourselves.”
