A group of local students have taken part in a cross country ramble to raise over £375 for Children In Need.
The ramble was organised by Early Years students at Duchy College Stoke Climsland, who were joined by Military Academy students as they braved the river crossing and boggy conditions.
Team Lead for Early Years at Duchy College Stoke Climsland, Laetitia Mayne, said it was “fantastic to see the students come together and have such a determined attitude towards raising money for a worthwhile cause.”
Level 2 Early Years student, Natasha Porter, said it was great “to do something different to raise money for charity.”
“There was a real team spirit between us to raise as much money as we could and it feels unbelievable to have raised as much as we have with donations still coming in.”
