Families from across Cornwall are gearing up for a day of action and fun that includes everything from Segway Polo and Nerf Battles to Pony rides and live music.
On Saturday 17th June, the annual Family Fun Day hosted by Cornwall College Camborne, which last year saw thousands of people attend, is a free to enter and free to park event.
The gates open at 10am with the official opening by Pirate FM presenter Lucy Start at 10.30am with broadcasts throughout the day.
Visitors can wander around exploring both indoor and outdoor activities and demonstrations with plenty of exciting, interactive and diverse things to do for all the family.
Vicky Cox, Head of Campus, Cornwall College Camborne said, “Following the enormous success of last year’s event, we are delighted to be hosting our free family fun day once again. We have had great support from local businesses and this year we have even more cool stuff for every member of the family to experience and enjoy.”
Organisers have added additional eateries, which now include a variety of cuisine from fish and chips to Mexican dishes and paella, not forgetting the Cornish cream tea and fresh barista coffee.
Vicky added, “We have so much happening it promises to be another fantastic show. People can bring their dogs and enter our Scruffs dog show, they can make their own ecto-plasm slime, enjoy some free beauty treatments and even watch a performance from Rogue Theatre on stage. The day is about encouraging our communities to come on-site, have fun and discover what we have to offer, we look forward to welcoming thousands of people again”.
The free parking, free to enter event is sign posted off the A30 and local roads.
