Health and Social care students from Cornwall College Camborne have been recognised in an annual awards ceremony. Family and friends were invited to the special event on the Camborne campus, to mark the end of term.
Director for Health and Wellbeing across The Cornwall College Group, Lisa Clark, said: “It was a real pleasure to be able to recognise the hard work and dedication of the students, all of whom have done extremely well over the last 12 months. Results wise we have seen an incredibly high number of students achieving the ‘distinction*’ grade and that is down to a lot of hard work from the students.”
Special awards went to Tilly Trevillion, Kyra McClelland Progress, Paige Worthington, Victoria Nicholas Endeavour, Nicole Randall and Charleigh Burns with the overall student of the year award going to Zoey Cresswell
Head of Cornwall College Camborne, Miriam Venner, added: “This time of year is always a highlight for teaching teams and their students; it’s an opportunity to celebrate success and it’s a pleasure to be involved in these awards. My congratulations to all the students on the Health and Social Care courses and I wish them all the success for their future careers and studies.”
