Award Winning Holiday Company Teams up with Cornwall College

With an excellent reputation in teaching Travel & Tourism courses with great facilities and an impressive alumni list, Cornwall College has attracted one of the most highly regarded independent tour operators in the UK to team up with them, giving their students access to guaranteed vacancies in this exciting and rewarding industry.

Mark Warner has over forty years’ experience, specialising in both ski and beach holidays across Europe and has grown to become a leading independent travel company, winning numerous accolades including; Best Family Tour Operator, Best Activity & Adventure Operator, Best All Inclusive Operator and Best Ski Operator.

As a market leader for family holidays, Mark Warner employ over 1500 staff in their overseas resorts, looking after 50,000 clients from beach holidays in Greece, to ski holidays in France.

Although based in London, the tour operator has agreed to conduct recruitment and interview days locally and will also be carrying out presentations attending the college’s industry week, where students from all courses can learn more about travel and tourism careers.

Although the partnership is primarily aimed at students studying travel and tourism all future vacancies will be open to other students at the college. Students studying complimentary courses like childcare and catering are especially welcome to apply, opening up the job opportunities to as many students as possible.

Suzette Sadler added, “A lot of what we teach is about customer care and how to offer outstanding customer service, something that mirrors the Mark Warner ethos and so I think our students will fit in really well, helping them to develop as individuals, gain real work experience and enhance their skills knowledge to make them a must have employee.”
