Complementary Therapist Support Group

New local Complementary therapist support group here at Cornwall college

At Cornwall College we are passionate about being able to support our learners on their journey even when they have left us, because of this we are setting up a local support group for complementary therapists. This is open to all from newly qualified to experienced therapists who would like to meet in a supportive environment, share knowledge through guest speakers and gain CPD points. This group is supported by the FHT – Federation of Holistic Therapists who are a professional organisation.

Guest speakers will be Sunita Passi from TriDosha:

Topic – Guided Meditation

It is with pleasure that I invite you to a talk with Sunita Passi – the founder and lead Principal of Tri-Dosha – who will share her own story of meditation and the secrets to meditation and it’s benefits. You will discover how one can integrate the tools and techniques into our lives for greater peace and personal transformation. Sunita will then guide us into a beautiful meditation to help open the heart and embrace self-compassion.

With the ever-changing world we are living in and stress and strain becoming more prevalent, offering a deep relaxation experience for clients is ever more important. As you will know, the Tri-Dosha Academy offer holistic treatment training programmes based on ancient Ayurvedic principles. Tri-Dosha, have also developed a unique guided meditation treatment for therapists to facilitate on clients, this is a 60 minute session to help clients achieve reduced stress, support emotional balance and increase energy. It is an excellent additional and dynamic new treatment service. Sunita will be available to answer questions on this course.
