You are 16 - 18 years old and interested in outdoor practical skills relating to construction groundworks.
GCSE English and maths at grade E or 2, or equivalent qualifications at Entry Level 3, plus an interest in groundwork construction activities.
A variety of skills including:
- Health & safety
- Operating plant
- Transporting materials
- Maintaining structures and surfaces
- Machinery maintenance
- Site safety
Practical training in plant operating skills on an approved CPCS test site. You will also need to supply or purchase your own PPE and contribute towards CSCS and CPCS test costs.
A mainly practical course which is assessed by practical sessions.
The Plant Operations CSkills Certificate (Groundworks) Level 2, an apprenticeship or gain employment in the construction and land-based sector.
