Course information

The Vocational Specialist course is part of our Vocational Pathway.

The Vocational Specialist course is part of our Vocational Pathway. This course is for learners who wish to pursue a Level 1 Certificate/Diploma within a vocational area whilst receiving additional support from the Progression Pathways team.

Learners will have the opportunity to study their units as part of the NCFE Occupational Studies for the Workplace qualification whilst working towards English and Maths at the right level for the individual.

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications required.

Please note: Some of our courses may have extra entry requirements or need a bit more information, like evidence or experience. Don't worry - we’ll guide you through everything when you apply!

Work Experience

1 week external work experience required (equivalent of 30 hours).

Assessment

You will study a nationally accredited qualification at level 1. The course will also allow you to continue the development of English and maths (either GCSE or Functional Skills).
