Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Certificate Level 3 (TQUK) (RQF) (Online)
This purely online Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools provides learners with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them work in the following roles; teaching assistant, classroom assistant, learning support assistant, additional needs assistant, pastoral/welfare support assistant, bilingual support assistant or foundation stage assistant. The roles must be under the direction of the class teacher, whose lesson planning and day-to-day direction set the framework within which the individual works.
You will complete the qualification using an online platform so access to a laptop/computer is essential.
You will have access to workshops, tutorials and one to one sessions with a tutor as and when required to support you to achieve your qualification.
THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY OPTION OF FACE TO FACE AT EITHER OUR CAMBORNE OR ST AUSTELL SITES
The Learner Loan is the same as a student loan and you do not have to pay anything back until you start earning over £27,295 a year. Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks.

What you will learn
This qualification will allow learners to undertake a range of units that will enable them to develop knowledge and understanding of supporting children and young people in an education setting.
Entry requirements
GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths. Students must have access to a computer and the internet throughout your course. Learners will need to have basic PC skills to navigate the online portal. Learners must have a placement in a school or college on an employed or voluntary basis.
Students must be 19+ and a resident of UK for the last 3 years.
Assessment
Online written assessments and observation of practice in the workplace.
Progression
FdA Child and Family Studies or BA Hons Children, Schools and Families (with a suitable FdA already held)
