This apprenticeship is designed for people who want to train on the job and gain a nationally recognised qualification in Business Administration. If you are efficient and enjoy organising people and resources, this is a great apprenticeship for you to start your career. The Level 5 CMI qualifications in management and leadership are designed for practising middle managers and those aspiring to senior management who want to develop their core management skills. To complete the Diploma you must undertake all six units/awards which will enable you to focus your personal development to grow your management capabilities and competencies. An award develops your knowledge by focusing on a specific area relevant to your job, plus a written work-based assignment. The award can also be undertaken as a non-accredited course. A certificate is two awards of your choice plus a written work-based assignment for each award. The diploma consists of seven awards plus a written work-based assignment for each award.

CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice

The Level 3 qualification, which leads to CIPD foundation-membership, includes four core-units designed to provide a solid grounding in the 'people profession'. The primary purpose of this qualification is to develop learners’ knowledge and skills to build their expertise in an human resource, or learning and development role, inspiring them to undertake tactical tasks that deliver value. Learners will build their confidence and knowledge - aimed at being able to contribute to immediate colleagues, customers and the organisation; supporting change and driving impact, to create immediate, and short-term, value. They will gather information to use in their role and use this to understand their work, organisation and profession more deeply. This can then be applied to the world of work as well as being used as a vehicle to start their journey to CIPD membership at the appropriate level to complement career and professional development.
