Picture Framing (DIY) Workshop

Craft supplies on a table from above This workshop will show you how to frame well on a budget.

All aspects of the basic framing of paintings, photos etc will be covered. Learn about mount cards, mouldings, conservation, decorative finishes, box frames and lots more. Everyone can try their hand at mitre and bevel mount cutting and information of local sources of materials and tools will be provided.

Please bring a pad and pen to make notes and any art work, frames or tools you may wish to discuss or need advice on.

You will make a picture frame at this workshop - aprox A4 size. So will be required to bring a small size image (postcard, photo or original artwork) no bigger than 6” x 4” / 15.5cm x 10.5 cm, that you can bevel mount and put in the frame.



This workshop runs on a Saturday from 10.00am to 3.30pm for 1 day.
