Course information
This course is suitable for all plumbers and engineers involved in the installation, commissioning, service and repair of hot water systems, solar thermal hot water systems or air source/ground source heat pumps.
You will be provided with a comprehensive learning package to understand the requirements of Water Regulations and its effects on water supply organisations and individuals.
Topics covered will include:
Water Regulations 1999
Pipework and fittings
Tightness testing
Cleansing and flushing of water systems
Commissioning
Maintenance and repair
Water Regulations prevent misuse, waste, undue consumption or erroneous measurement of water and, most importantly, to prevent contamination of drinking water.
