Saturday Skills – Developing Pipework (Plumbing)

STARTING SOON – DON’T MISS OUT! Enhance Your Trade Skills on Our Practical 5 Week Courses Starting soon Cornwall College will be hosting another series of Saturday Skills Workshops. Perfect for anyone interested in either improving their DIY skills, or for existing trades people who are looking to enhance their careers. Courses available include; plumbing, furniture making, plastering, brick and blockwork and bench joinery. On successful completion each learner will receive a college certificate. Designed to meet the needs of both enthusiast and professional, the Saturday Skills Workshops will give you all the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience you need to gain useful new skills. Developing Pipework (Plumbing): Introduction to basic tools and their uses, cutting and soldering copper pipe, how to bend copper pipe, using capillary fittings, how to replace tap washers and pressure test a system, waste pipe assembly, checking and replacing radiators, how to install a washing machine and more.
