If you enjoy working front of house and are looking to progress your career to supervisory or management level, our level 3 Food & Beverage Service Supervision course is ideal. You will learn through a combination of practical and theoretical units helping you to develop your supervisory skills in a range of areas including; staff training, customer service, food & beverage combinations, legislation, hospitality events, health & safety and wine preparation.



You’ll also be part of one of the best catering college’s in the UK with three Centre’s of Excellence and the only catering college to have two commercial restaurants both awarded AA college Rosettes. We also provide training and partner with many household names including; Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen, The Eden Project, River Cottage and more, giving you industry connections to help boost your career.

  What You Will Learn

From a combination of practical and theoretical units which will be delivered in an excellent industry level environment. In addition to developing practical skills and barista skills, you can also learn how to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, carve, fillet, joint and serve food, provide advice to customers on food and beverage matching, and supervise hospitality events.

  Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at grade C or 4, including English and mathematics, or a Level 3 qualification in Food & Beverage Service or equivalent.

  Assessment

Assignments, projects and practical examinations.

"The course has taken me all over the world cooking. Until recently I was Executive Chef on a 5 star cruise liner and here I got to create my own menus, meet and cook for appreciative people.

Going to college gave me the tools to travel around the world and to work with and teach different nationalities. I would highly recommend it and cruise ships are a great way to do what you love whilst seeing different countries. "

Spend two sessions creating desserts that every household would enjoy indulging on after any dinner. Week 1 creates the classic sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and clotted cream. Then a delightful summer fruit pudding. Week 2 is spent whipping up a fluffy chocolate mousse with fresh strawberries then moves you to a classic bread and butter pudding.
