Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp

This Level 3 Bootcamp will equip learners with the technical knowledge in digital marketing, as well as the opportunity to build their own Digital Marketing Plan.

The Bootcamp will cover a number of topics including the fundamental principles of marketing, websites, SEO and the digital consumer, digital content creation and campaign development, digital communications, and metrics and analytics.

Bootcamps are open to anyone 19 or over, who are employed or unemployed. For those currently not employed, you will be offered a guaranteed interview with an employer upon successful completion of the bootcamp.

The delivery will be a blend of online and face-to-face.

What you will learn

Course content will include:

Marketing 101 – This module will provide an overview of the fundamental principles of marketing, enabling you to understand the function of marketing within businesses, looking at the importance of both traditional and digital marketing approaches. Digital marketing doesn’t work unless the right groundwork has been done to truly understand our customers and know what we offer is what they want. This module lays the foundation for you as a marketeer to fully understand your business environment from a marketing perspective, and get the best you can from digital marketing efforts.

Websites, SEO and The Digital Consumer – This module will look at the rise of the web, and enable you to understand how they work, delving into the world of SEO and what the behaviour of a digital consumer looks like, so we can avoid the ‘Messy Middle’ and give our online customers the best experience they have ever had!

Digital Content Creation & Campaign Development – Content is King! In this module we will cover how as a Digital Marketeer you can understand and use paid, owned and earned media content successfully. We will look at how you plan, develop and manage digital marketing campaigns that work.

Digital Communications – In this module we move into the world of communications, having created the content, devised the campaign, what options are there for our Digital Marketeers to get their campaigns out to their customers. So we are now looking at the channels available to us and our marketing messages, no one digital marketing platform has the same message from the same campaign! And what about managing the inward communication from our customers, as Digital Marketeers, we can’t forget protecting our brand!

Metrics & Analysis – This module will cover the role of digital metrics in online marketing campaigns and how to track, measure and use the data to inform marketing activity, compare campaigns and report findings. ROMI is all important in the world of Digital Marketing, especially in the paid for camp!

Career Management & Employability – You will be supported throughout the 12 weeks with one to one support tailored to your needs. Whether that’s enhancing your CV or becoming an ‘A’ star interviewee to secure your role in Digital Marketing, we can help here!

Assessment

At the end of each module learners will apply the content they have gone through to building their Digital Marketing Plan, which forms the assessment of learners understanding of the content.
