"The course has taken me all over the world cooking. Until recently I was Executive Chef on a 5 star cruise liner and here I got to create my own menus, meet and cook for appreciative people.

Going to college gave me the tools to travel around the world and to work with and teach different nationalities. I would highly recommend it and cruise ships are a great way to do what you love whilst seeing different countries. "

Cooking alfresco can be daunting but with our easy to learn techniques and knowledge this course identifies how to transfer your standard menu into an outdoor delight. You will learn the skills and gain understanding to work and control your outdoor BBQ. Cooking up a storm on the BBQ you will produce garlic and chilli prawns, marinated lamb kebabs and a minute steak. This course will run from 9:00- 15:30 and there will be a £15 fee for materials

International Street & Festival Food

No Qualification • Part-time • Cornwall College St Austell


Dive into the flavours, smells, techniques, and reasons that makes street food so delicious. In Week 1 we will guide you throw the classic Durban Bunny Chow (Lamb curry served inside Half a Loaf of White Bread). In Week 2 We will cook up the perfect Pad Thai with all the tips and tricks to elevate this classic to the next level. This course will run from 18:00 to 21:00 and there is a £15 fee for materials.
