Could not see yourself in an office? Enjoy working outside? This could be the course for you. This course is a great start or to advance your career as a bricklayer.
The first thing you’ll notice about this course is that it’s about practical learning – you’ll be spending a lot of time in our workshop, learning by doing as you work on a range of materials and tools. This will support your in advancing you knowledge and your employability
As a Level 2 course, this diploma is all about advancing your knowledge to the bricklaying industry and developing your essential skills. You’ll be learning from experienced and professional bricklayers, who are there to give you the very best start to your career.
We do everything in our workshop: from brick to block work, line work, piers, corners, one brick thick walls, cavity walls, arches, render and finish plastering and much more! As you more up course levels these units will get more complicated as you progress through the course. L2 will give you knowledge of industry standards

Our workshop features industry-standard equipment and kit, exactly like a working site. We also have a strong partnership with the local businesses, so while you’re on this course push yourself you stand a great chance of getting an apprenticeship. What you will learn
We do everything in our workshop: from brick to block work, line work, piers, corners, one brick thick walls, cavity walls, arches and much more! As you more up course levels these units will get more complicated as you progress through the course. L2 will give you knowledge of industry standards
Entry requirements
Bricklaying diploma Level 1, plus GCSEs at 3 or above ideally maths and English
Assessment
You will be assessed through online assessment, practical assignments and through multi-choice exams.
Progression
Once you’ve finished the Level 2 course, you’ll have a real understanding of industry standards bricklaying skill and be ready to move on to the more advanced Level 3 courses. We also offer apprenticeships across the construction industry, so if you want to earn while you learn, then you can consider that option.
