French – Beginners Term Two (Evening)

No Qualification • Part-time • Cornwall College Camborne

This course will be ideally suited to students who have recently completed the Term One course but would be of equal value to people who have previously completed some formal study or have a grasp of the French language who wish to refresh and further develop and build on their language skills. The course will be more student led in order to control the pace and allow time to further develop and build confidence. Students will be involved in a number of activities such as introducing yourself, describing your family, your job, shopping, ordering meals, booking accommodation, asking directions, dislikes and likes etc. This is hoped to provide a platform for additional practice and avoid communication deadlocks when visiting the country either as a tourist or those who are planning to re-locate to France. Hand-outs will be given so there is no requirement to buy a book. However a dictionary and basic verb book would be useful but this will be discussed at the first class. This course runs on a Monday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm for 8 weeks. Venue:- Cornwall College Camborne Trevenson Road Pool Redruth TR15 3RD
