The broad purpose of a Digital Support Technician is to maximise the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software, digital communications, including collaborative technologies, and digital information systems to achieve objectives. They will select one of the following two options: Digital Applications Technician: A Digital Applications Technician helps their organisation and its internal users to maximise the use of digital technologies and adapt to and exploit changes in technology to meet organisation objectives and maximise productivity ensure effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software, digital communications, including collaborative technologies, and digital information systems to achieve objectives. Digital Service Technician: A Digital Service Technician supports the external customers and clients of their organisation though a wide variety of digital channels, to help them access and receive services, to coach and support them in their use of the digital systems; to support them to complete and submit information remotely and to diagnose and resolve their problems in relation to their access to and use of the digital technologies.

Chef De Partie Apprenticeship Standard

If you have a real passion or are interested in furthering your knowledge, skills and career in the hospitality industry, then this course is for you. The Chef de Partie Level 3 apprenticeship is for learners working in a wide range of hospitality settings across the service and commercial sectors. A chef de partie is responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen. This type of chef usually manages a small team of workers, which they must keep organised so that dishes go out on time and the work area remains clean and orderly, for example, sauces, pastries or fish. However, in smaller kitchens a chef de partie may work independently as the only person in their section. Also known as a station or section chef, the chef de partie reports to the senior chef and has a very important role in any kitchen. The learning journey of any chef will vary from one chef to the next but should always allow an apprentice to understand and have experience in managing other and producing food items in line with organisational specification in order to progress to any future senior chef role. It will allow working or volunteering practitioners to learn the theory and strategies of interacting, caring, educating and supporting children, young people and their families in a variety of roles. With a rapidly developing sector, this programme will allow those engaging with a wide range of multi-disciplinary teams to enhance their knowledge, understanding, skills and career opportunities. Opportunities to explore concepts, current issues impacting practice, effective strategies and key ways of working will be offered, throughout. Along with 120 hours in work placement (paid or voluntary), the lectures will provide the conduit to learn the theory which can then be applied to practice. Throughout the course there are opportunities to reflect on practice, try new strategies and focus on new-found practical skills.
