Come and join us on our Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism. Delivered at both Cornwall College Camborne and Cornwall College St Austell, our qualification consists of a range of units. That enable you to learn, develop and practice skills required for employment in aviation, rail, holiday parks, tour operator companies, travel agencies, tourist information centres, tourist attractions, cruise line companies or conference events organisations.? The tourism industry consists of many processes, systems and activities which enable tourists to enjoy their experience whilst away from home. This course focuses specifically on developing your knowledge and skills to be able to work in this ever-growing sector by exploring and going behind the scenes to identify the elements that make up the tourism industry. Economically tourism is one of the most important industrial activities in the world. More than 1 billion people take international tourist trips every year, and this number is increasing year on year. Tourism accounts for over 10% of global GDP and one in every 11 jobs. We have high success rates, and you can see on our social media feeds that many of our learners are now working as cabin crew, travel advisers, overseas resort reps, on cruise ships and in the rail industry.
