Animal Science Diploma

Cornwall College Newquay LEVEL: 3 Wildlife Conservation & Zoology

Our Newquay campus is dedicated to teaching others about animals and conservation and makes full use of its partnership with Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium. During your studies we will give you all the expert knowledge and skills you need to start your career in either animal science or wildlife conservation.

Our diplomas in animal science and wildlife conservation are equivalent to A-levels and are designed for you to go straight on to university study. Cornwall College Newquay is proud of its university provision, in partnership with Plymouth University, offering degrees in a number of specialist animal and conservation subjects.

The Animal Science Diploma is for those who have a genuine commitment to work with and study animals. Students get first-hand experience of handling and observing animals in captivity and natural habitats. You need to be enthusiastic and committed to hard work, especially during the less glamorous aspects of the course.

There are one and two year options available with this Level 3 pathway and we will work with you to decide which is best for you.
