You are keen to develop the skills required for a career in the health and care-related sector, or wish to progress to university study.
4 GCSEs at grade C or 4, including English language, mathematics and science, or an equivalent qualification at merit grade or above.
From a total of 18 units taught over two years, with subjects including anatomy and physiology, public health, psychology and research. An integral part of your course is the work placement experience and you will complete at least 100 hours of work experience. You will also cover; communication , health and safety, duty of care, confidentiality, safeguarding, equality and inclusion and person-centred care.

The range of transferable skills and knowledge you'll gain, increasing your progression opportunities to a wide range of courses, including nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, social work and paramedic training.
