This qualification is aimed at experienced workers in a technical, managerial or supervisory role (e.g. foreman), who are seeking to develop their competence and improve their skills and knowledge.
Anyone with a trade qualification working in the construction industry and that are in a supervisory role can gain a NVQ in Occupational Work Supervision.

If you are an experienced worker in the construction or built environment sector and want to gain a qualification that will allow you to supervise other workers and utilise site documentation efficiently.
You should be currently working as a supervisor or assistant site manager in any construction trade occupation, for example:
- Site carpentry
- Introduction, NVQ induction and health and safety
- Leadership and management
- Communication and customer care
- Environment and sustainability
- Planning, programming and logistics
- Resource management (cost, cash and risk)
The course gives you the confidence to carry out your supervisory responsibilities effectively.
You could progress into occupational areas such as team leading and management or our Level 4 Construction Site Management Diploma.
