A-level English Language & Literature

Cornwall College St Austell LEVEL: 3 A-levels

English Language and Literature is the ideal subject if you are interested in both the origins and intricacies of our language, reading and exploring literary texts such as plays, poetry and novels. You will explore where our words come from, how they are formed and the rules we use (and break) to string them together; this understanding will then be applied to a range of specified literary and non-literary discourse. The course gives you the opportunity to explore all aspects of English study in a fun and engaging manner.
