Safe Use of Pesticides – Foundation Module & Hand Held Applicator Module PA1 & PA6

Bicton College Bicton LEVEL: Professional Qualification Agriculture & Countryside Management

This module is the first step towards achieving the NPTC Certificates of Competence in Safe Use of Pesticides.

Assessment is by on-line computer-based test, and takes place at the end of Day 1 training.

This module must be completed before progression to other levels of certification.


PA6 Pesticide Application – Hand Held Applicator Module

This course is for those intending to apply pesticides with a knapsack or other hand operated sprayer.

Please note that spray suits are not provided for this course, you will need to have one to complete the training and assessment.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be sixteen years of age or older and have completed training and achievement of Foundation Module PA1 before progressing to PA6.
