Description of types of tasks to be carried out. –
To dismantle and recycle IT WEEE waste, assist in building new and also refurbishing IT equipment ready for sale. Assist in all aspects of the business, including cleaning, sales and dealing with customers etc , fault diagnosis and work pricing.
Description of key skills & personal competencies required. –
Must have transport, be honest and trustworthy due to the value of the equipment on site and customer’s equipment, fully IT literate, Meticulous and be able to work at a given task without supervision, also be very flexible at any moment change positions.
This is a fast moving workplace and Their approach to recycling must be absolute and to exacting standards.
This is a fast moving dusty and dirty manual IT working environment so candidate must not be afraid of getting dirty.
The candidate will learn how to work in a real world IT hardware environment, not a clean office job sitting at a desk all day.
